What people think:
My wife and I did the “Salem’s Golden Age” walk on 9/24/19 with Rekindled History. It was outstanding walk which lasted two hours! There were 11 adults who asked numerous questions of our guide who had most answers the walk focused on the landscapes and architecture of early Salem. Our guide Vijay Joyce was extremely knowledgeable and articulate. Very good speaking voice and projection. He had numerous pictures and charts of early Salem which certainly assisted in his presentation during the walk. While on the walk we visited a spice shop where the propriety gave an excellent 15-minute overview of the spice industry which played and important role in Salem’s Golden age. We also visited a tea shop. This was a fantastic tour of Salem and we would highly recommend it to any one interested in learning about Salem’s early history - William, Tripadvisor
What can I say, but Wow!!!
Went to the Daniels house for a fireside chat lead by Vijay and we were blown away. His knowledge of history and the way he told it is surely a gift. We had such a great evening and loved that it was BYOB. We will definitely be taking another tour with him... Thanks for making date night fun and historical. - Deirdre, Facebook
"I've been on, and taken visitors on, countless Salem tours over the years and this one outshines them all.
Vijay's knowledge and passion for history engaged every member of our group, which included local history buffs and people with only the vaguest knowledge of Salem's history.
It was great fun visiting different pubs, trying new beers and learning how beer played an integral role in settling Salem and its role in daily life.
I would recommend this engaging and innovative tour to anyone visiting or living in the area and am looking forward to going on more tours in the future." - MLM, TripAdvisor
